Here I am, I’ve been in business since 2004! Can’t believe 19 years! I’m so forever grateful for all my family, friends and making new friends through the years as faithful clientele. Thank you!!!
My story as most of you know, I went to Fitchburg State in 93-98 and received my bachelor’s degree of Communications with concentration in Photography.
It wasn’t digital then, I worked in the darkroom and developed film and printed enlargements. This is when I fell in love with the process of photography. How times have changed, now being on the computer nonstop. I’m beyond grateful for my professor Peter Laytin for sharing his inspiration for photography with all the lessons he instilled on me. (Fun note, I’m now a vender for Fitchburg State)
My Senior year internship was Medical Photography at Boston University school of Medicine. I learned a lot from photographing in the operating room, patient shoots, portraits, printing and developing film/slides C-41 and E-6. Oh, those were the days. How I miss it. I do have all the equipment to make a dark room; one of these days.
I keep up with the ever-changing education in photography through workshops and seminars. I’m a member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America), I volunteer my time at conventions for PPA. I’ve attended SPAC, I’m a member of SPOA (School Photographers of America). I've studied under Peter Laytin, Professor at Fitchburg State University, Richard Sturdevant (PPANE in PS), David Long (waterfalls and Lupines), Rachel Neville (NYC Dance Photography) Rachel Nielson (Wedding/elopement), Joe Reardon (Waterworks Museum), Lisa and Tom Cuchara and many more amazing talented professional photographers through different associations.
I have a home studio and a travel studio which allows me to do a lot more on location.
I enjoy photographing Families, High School Seniors, Babies, Sports, Dance, Professional headshots, school portraiture & events.
I have a wonderful husband that will do anything for me, so I always have lots of projects for him and he just smiles. Love him!
We have two girls who are my world, you will see lots of pictures of them on my business and personal page. They have been modeling for me since day one! You may also see them on job sites helping me. Very grateful for my beautiful family! Love them dearly!
